A-USA Appliance, A-USA Refrigeration customer service very rude and belligerent Norcross Georgia
I called A-USA Appliance after finding their ad in the yellow pages. My dryer had problems staying on and starting. I called them on Friday night (their ad boasted 24 hour service line) to schedule an appointment. The intitial call was fine, I got an appointment scheduled for the following morning (yesterday). The tech came out and "fixed" my dryer.
Fast forward to that night. The dryer stopped working. It wouldn't start again. I called to report the problem around 11:30 or so. Granted, that is late, but I knew the company had 24 phone customer service. The guy that answered the phone took all of the pertinent information and told me that I needed to have my apartment complex come inspect the dryer vent before they would come service the dryer. I asked him why the previous person to schedule a service call hadn't told me that. He became very agitated with me at this point, raising his voice. He cussed at me (called me a smart a*s for asking a question). I said that I wasn't trying to be "smart", I was just asking a question. He said, "oh yes I know you were trying to be." I asked for the name of a manager. He said he was the manager. He wouldn't give me his name. I calmly said that I was just calling to get make a new appointment to the 24 hour service phone line, and as a paying customer I didn't think there was any reason for rudeness. He said I should be treated rudely for calling so late and being a smart a*s. At this point he hung up on me. I could not believe this guy.
At this point, I am trying to decide what to do. I looked up the company and searched for an address. There is none published. If you live in Atlanta, do not call this company. There are lots of others in the yellow pages. I am sure most of them are better than this one.
