Marlon Weintraub and his father Marc own AAA Cleaning Team, Inc., the same name as another company but this one supposedly removes mold from homes.  I had my home tested by the Health Department and a reputable mold testing firm to find very high levels in two walls and in my attic.  The testing says it is not always visible.

When Marlon walked through my home without ever suiting up and said he did not see any mold, he turned off the scrubber and proceeded to use the paneling I said he could take from the closet to cover the warped paneling from water damage that had been in the wall for at least a year.  Another company had said the very wet plastic in the attic was dripping condensation into the walls.  Marlon never told me he had no skill for patching walls, but to the surprise of his father attempted and failed at doing so in order to try to justify charging me the entire $1,188 for what was estimated to take 22 hours and included hazardous waste removal ($880), anti-microbial treatment ($99), containment ($49) and use of the air scrubber ($159.98) which the father claims costs them nothing to use.  As they did NONE of that, he led me to believe it would simply cost me the $55 per hour for spraying some foam in two walls to stop outside air from being trapped in the wall.  Since the total hours spent at my place was no more than five hours, I was appalled that both the father and son claim I had to pay the entire estimate despite the work not being done.  Marlon said the plastic could not be removed from the attic due to its installation under joists.  He just walked away.

Both men argue relentlessly, making absurd statements like "You have to pay my gas; you have to pay $55 travel; you have to pay the rate per person since there was a helper; you paid $500 for testing, so what's wrong with paying us $1,188?"  The written estimate is only agreed to upon satisfactory completion, but this wicked firm contends you must pay no matter what they do!!!  Be very careful of hiring Marlon Weintraub!

There has been no response to the notorized form whereby I changed their word, "refute" to "resolve."  They have not refunded anything.
