Not much to add to what has been posted already. I experienced the same things.I had problems with return calls and no aswer calls from the start and it only got worse.

We went to the Calypso Cay resort on a package deal.I was told when I bought the package there would be no black out dates (My wife is a Special Ed teacher so our travel times are the major times and I wanted to make sure there were no problems with that) or additional fee.

We ended up having to pay a $75 dollar easter fee as well as extra for a room upgrade to a suite. I was told the suite had a seperate sleeping area along with a pull out bed in the seating area so I agreed to the upgrade fee for the room.

When we arrived the room we got was not a suite. It was a normal room with a bathroom,small fridge and a small microwave. I called to complain and was told I was in a suite but it was a "junior suite". I told them I was to get a regular suite and needed it changed. I was informed the standard suite was on a "if available" case and one was not available.

The hotel said it was not their fault.The welcome center said it was not there fault and to call absolute. So I called absolute and after 20 mins on hold (timed on my phone) I was disconnected. After I called back I waited another 18 mins before I spoke witht the "receipionist" I told her my problems but said she could do nothing for me.I requested a call back by a manager and hung up. Keep in mind they do have caller ID so they might not even answer if they dont want to talk to you.

So basically I paid 165 bucks extra to stay in a room on site at Calypso Cay. I was not happy but did not want to let it ruin the vacation with my wife and kids.I asked for a roll away bed for my son to sleep on and left it at that.

The next day we went to our "90min. tour" We started at 10.:30 I told them of my un happiness and filled out a complaint form with the Manager at the welcome center. He told me he had had 6 complaints that day about absolute.

He also told me they pay absolute 300.00 per couple that attends the "tour". He said they were going to drop them. I am sure this was another Bull**** move to try and make us feel better but it did not. We had to beg to be let go at 1:20

So the 90 mins made it to almost 3 hours. See they have you because if you leave you get billed for $150 and dont get the 2 free tickets. We bit the bullet got the tickets and left. This was a nightmare. I would not wish anyone to deal with them.

I have 2 other trips arranged from this package one including free airfare. I do not plan on taking either of them. Any suggestions on a class action lawsuit against these people?
