I was just searching for the Address to my insurance company (ACCC Claims Ins) when this site appeared. I was not surprised to read about how this scheming insurance company treated clients who had other insurance providers.

They not only scheme the them, they scheme there own clients as well!! I was in a car wreck on 4-25-2012 and thankfully no one was hurt. Feeling pretty confident since I had full coverage insurance, (since it is mandatory on new vehicles ) and had made all my truck and insurance premium payment  on time every time, I thought for sure this claim would be settled in a short amount of time.

Was I ever soooo wrong! I did not know that when I paid my monthly premiums I would also have to do all of the leg work for this insurance company as well! Including notifying the bank that was financing the vehicle , going to the police station to get a copy of the police report, paying for it as well as having to fax it to them, then having to find out the info to the total loss department, along with all the banking information to send to Glendora, who I thought was working for me but instead I seemed to be doing all the work for her.

5-1-2012 is the process date on my report that they sent me in the mail to fill out.  I immediately completed it and faxed her the forms back including the police report to speed up the claims process as stated in bold print on the bottom of their form. I faxes it ti them on 5-2-2012.

5-4-2012 the appraiser Eddie Chappa went to evaluate the damage of my truck.

On 5-10-2012 is when Glendora call me and told me that I need to call the storage facility and have the truck released. As informed by Glendora ( who called after 5:30 p.m) I called the storage facility and spoke with a women named Tammy who notified me that they were about to close, but would make sure that the truck was released to ACCC.

Every day after this I kept calling ACCC to see where they were at with my claim. I left several messages and never heard by from Glendora. Finally weeks later on 5-31-2012 I spoke with the receptionist at ACCC who informed me that Glendora was on vacation! Some adjuster, here I am trying to speed up the process since I have been out of work this whole time and I never knew my case was just collecting dust on her desk! At this time I was requested to speak to another adjuster and was transfer to Christian Espinoaz's voice mail. I left him a message and to this day still waiting for his call.

On 6-18-2012 was the first time I heard back from her since before she had went on vacation. At that time she told me that I needed to go and sign for the truck to be released otherwise they were going to charge me for the for the storage fees, and deducted it out of my settlement.

On 6-28-2012  Glendora was requesting the same information to be faxed that I already had faxed her in April!   At that time I faxed her the information that she needed with a note on the letter head stating that the first signature for the truck release was on 5-10-12 , the second signature that I had to do again was on 6-18-12.

I also informed her that I refused to pay storage fees and that she needed to get in contact with the bank who informed me that they had not heard from ACCC at all! Since she had dragged her feet throughout this whole process I was forced to make a truck payment even though my truck had been totaled since April.

That same day after getting off the phone with her, I went and spoke with James ( the body shop manager) to get a quote on the price of the storage fees. At that time when I told Jame the situation, that is when he informed me that the insurance company is responsible for those fee and that is a totally different check. In no way should it come out of my settlement! At that time James picked up the phone and called the salvage company to ask them when was the first time that they had heard from Glendora from ACCC. The salvage company stated the first call they received from ACCC was on 6-16-2012. At that time James then asked, what day did they actually pick it up? The salvage compamy told James that 6-21-2012 was when it was pick up. After hanging up with the salvage company, James picked up the phone and called Glendora at ACCC to inform her that she was not allowed to charge clients for the storage fees. This was a matter between the insurance company and the storage facility. James even went as far as telling her that they would knock ten dollars off every day they had the truck to insure that it would not come out of my settlement. At that time listening to to conversation between Glendora and James I found out that ACCC had not come up with any kind of settlement numbers for my claim. At that moment I started to feel that I was beening ripedoff!

So here we are 7-16-2012 and all I know is that I am not receiving anything, not for sure if the truck is paid off, and that Glendora refuses to give me anymore information on my claim due to the fact that it is now closed. Or as she put it, against all laws to reveal any information to us the claim holder!! Something definetly stinks about this insurance. Needless to say, thanks to ACCC I've lost my job and still have no vehicle.
