Accelesales VisiNow, Wes Holtz, John Holtz, Erick Martinez, Louis Martinez, John Couch Bait and Switch, over-promise under-deliver Houston, Texas
Accelesales and VisiNow representatives operate under the names Wes Holtz, John Holtz, Erick Martinez, Louis Martinez, John Couch. Seems to be a basic bait and switch with three phases:
1. Over-promise you something fantastic at a very low price (ie. a flood of qualified hits to your web site, or complete contact information for all visitors to your website and your competitors web sites).2. A glitch with your site or some other aspect of the project that is extremely rare or has only occurred with your project. This unforeseen glitch prevents the fulfillment or delivery of the promised goods or service.
3. Your money cant be refunded, but can be credited to some other service that you would never sign up for in the first place.
Its a pretty smooth operation, except that the phone is usually answered hello, instead of a business name, and they are not always careful about the names they use (Erick and Louis are obviously the same person). Likely a one to three person scam, trying to appear as a legitimate and much larger company. Another tell is that you will receive nothing of any value until after they have your money. Even if you request half or even a quarter or less of what you are bargaining for, you will get nothing until they have your money. And then the scam goes on as described in step 2.
Theyre also pretty bright in that theyre not scamming tens of thousands of dollars at a time. Its relatively small dollars, so theyre counting on the scamees to just drop it at some point and write off their losses.
