Complaint Review: Accurate Investigations Gladys Brierley - Jackson Mississippi

This was not a real client.  I have contacted this person who retaliated against me after I among many other Private Investigators reported him in our Alabama Private Investigators group citing his own rip off reports.  He was soliciting subcontractors and I responded and then was notified of his national activity.  Later he was charged with about 63 crimes including ones related to retaliation.

This was an ex cop turned unlicensed California private investigator who you can read about on google as there are numerous news articles on his crimes and arrests and how it affected many of us.

Gladys and her husband helped me throughout a very difficult divorce by performing a sweep of my house after I found multiple recorders and cameras placed in my house and on my property by my now ex-husband. They were very professional and friendly. Gladys made it a point to stay in touch with me months afterwards to check in with me and my daughter. She gave me very sound advice and shared her professional knowledge and past experiences. It has been two years now, and Gladys has continued to contact me from time to time. All I can say is that I asked Ms.Brierly to find someone. She did and the fellow asked her "how did you find me?" She answered "That's my job! Very hard and pleasant worker

I was highly disappointed in the work of this firm. I had only one report from the person I contacted with this firm. I really do not know if any investigation was done at all. There was no follow-up. I really was shocked at the extremely poor communication and performance of this firm. I most definitely would never hire them again to do investigative work. I felt all this person wanted was my money. Communication from them to me was almost nil. If they did more than I am indicating, they sure did not tell me. I wanted to contact them and ask just what they did to warrant the amount of money I gave them. I would call them distant instead of professional.

Unfortuantely the problem was that the children's grandfather hisfather hired me and told me NOT to communicate with the client because of legal implications. The grandparents of he children hired me. I had one conversation with the parent-father and then all the rest of the communication was done with the grandfather who actually paid for services. I did surveillance and then also had a trained law enforcement officer do surveillance and put a GPS tracker on a vehicle. Due to my advice on strategy the children's father was able to win a favorable agreement with the mother of the children who it turns out was not cheating on our watch. Our discussions with the client-grandfather were favorable and at no time did he say he was unhappy. I have asked for Thumbtack to remove this review as the reviewer was not the paying client and the paying client never expressed any concerns and seemed happy with our services.

Thanks so much for giving me publicity.  I really appreciate it.  I know all my child custody cases that I have been involved with and all of them that have been settled have been settled favorably to my client.  Additionally I do not take child custody cases from Albany Georgia since I am not licensed to practice there.  I do not know who this person is who has made the complaint but I can only assume it is a disgruntled subject of one of my investigations where a cheater was caught, or some other investigation turned up evidence against one of the subjects which was favorable to my client.

I am actually very pleased that my work for my clients is so good that it would prompt someone to take this slanderous action and I will also be consulting my attorney as to how to proceed handling this.

I applaud rip off because I think it is an excellent way of holding businesses accountable and resolving complaints.  I have no one to resolve anything with since none of my clients have ever asked for their money back or been anything but satisfied with my work for them.
