Unfortunately, I was a victim of Mr. Lester. He took a deposit for my daughters 2nd birthday which he never returned. He assured me it would be returned in 10 days but after almost a month and a half I have seen nothing. I have sent e-mails and left voice messages with no avail. I feel taken advantage of when he portrayed himself to be so successful and booked like crazy. After reading another ripoff report claiming similar issues of dishonesty I decided to state my case as well. I tried to hire a clown for my daughters birthday as a surprise. and I felt I did all the research only to be conned. Bunkerdoodle the clown website is very professional and he speaks very intelligently but he ignores your phone calls and e-mails if he owes you money. I am in the process of taking him to small claims court because I do not know what to do at this point. I will not let him take money from my child and it is really the principal of the situation. How dare someone in these hard economic times think is is okay to steal money and do nothing to earn it! At the end of the day we had to hire another clown from craigslist who was professional and was paid for services rendered. My daughter had a wonderful day despite Mr. Lesters actions. At this point I just want my money back and I want to forget ever speaking or looking at his website. GxxxxlCxxxxs(((REDACTED))) is a great company and saved the day at the last minute with a funny interactive clown and because they felt bad about the situation brought free cotton candy and 2 characters in addition to the clown!

Mr. Lester is a con artist and there are numerous events on the internet that verify his lack of respect for his profession. Don't advertise to be a clown if you continuously rip people off because it is easy to see why his website has been disabled and he is now advertising on Craigslist! Do not trust him with a deposit you will never see him or your money!

Unfortunately it was never about the contract.I understood the situation which you are failing to mention. However, It was you Mr. Lester who sent me an email stating that my deposit would be returned in 10 days via your "accountant" 2 emails and a phone call later I have received nothing! Anyway, at this point it will be up to the judge to decide this case. Morally I think it is a shame that you continue to hold my deposit and also advertise on craigslist!

Ruth Safadit contacted my client "Bunker Doodle The Magical Circus Clown" on May 15, 2009 in reference to her child's birthday party on June 7th, 4-6pm. All events are booked and confirmed on a contract basis ONLY along with partial payment required as deposit to confirm such an event. Mrs. Safadit did not check availability first, as obviously required by any entertainment company. Mrs. Safadit paid her deposit via Bunker Doodle's website without his consent and without downloading and submitting the required contract to confirm an event. Mrs. Safadit originally inquired availability via telephone on May 15, 2009 @ 7:19pm. At that time, June 7th, 4-6pm was available on the original inquiry date. Mrs. Safadit did not call to confirm she did in fact want to hire the entertainer - two weeks later she sent an email not knowing her desired event take was no longer available. No entertainment company will accept an event confirmation via email. My client then called Mrs. Safadit, making her aware that the event date (which has been changed on several occasions) was no longer available and voided. People must read contracts - hence the reason of their existence in today's world. Therefore, if she thinks for a minute she was taken advantage of she brought it upon herself by not downloading and reading the publicly available contract and not following proper procedure. With no contract in hand, services cannot be rendered. Note the bylaws of the contract below... (CANCELLATION POLICY: If for any reason you must cancel your event/party any deposit(s) or fee(s) paid are considered non-refundable, no exceptions. Cancellation also includes alteration of your original contract in regard to location, date and/or time.) My client has no existence of any contract under the name Ruth Safadit.
