Beware have a renatl property in Orlando, and had ADT for over 12 years (Out of contract/ but still using there service) I called to upgrade the sysytem and enter into a new contact. A.D.T Represntative reviewed my account (stated that I have been with them many years) He stated that it would cost me $445.06 to upgrade the existing system and $54.73 monthy monitoring fee & to remain in contract for 3 years. THAT WAS CRAZY I already have there system install, all the have to do is replace the keypad and box (No wire to be ran). So I told him No thanks. A day later I called form another phone number and gave a address across the street and stated that I did not have an alarm and wanted one install. WELL I WAS QUOTED $74.00 installation and 49.99 a month fee and to enter into a 3year contact.

A week later I called ADT to cancel the existing service (Not in contract) After I informed the representative that I wanted to cancal and informed her why. I was directed to another department. (Hold time stated 3 minutes) I waited for over an hours, with no response. As I remained on the line I called back and spoke with another representative and informed her of the issue, she stated that she could not cancel it that I need to speak with the other department. I was againg trasfer. Wait time stated 3 minute. After waiting another 15 minutes I hung up and cancel my credit card so no other cahrgers could post. Dont let the name fool you. All alarm companys work the same way. An alarm goes off the representitave calls 911
