I do not recommend using this company for any electronic service, installation, or security monitoring.  The general contractor that built our house used this company as a sub-contractor to install a surround sound system and alarm system.  The surround sound system was not installed properly and required repairs and reinstallation work that took more than a year to complete.  There was resistance at every step of the way by the management of the company.  They also took no responsibility for the shoddy work that was completed and blamed anyone and everyone that they could including the general contractor and the manufacture of the equipment.  The equipment that was installed was recommended and purchased through Total Connect.  The management of Total Connect referred to the components that they installed as "garbage" when they were notified numerous times over the course of a year that the surround sound system was not working properly.  We were able to get the system to function properly after months of complaints being filed with the company.  This was a result of the component manufacture providing technical assistance (which we had to pay for) and by us having to purchase additional wiring that we had to install ourselves.  Additionally, a contractor working on the house triggered the alarm system and it took 12 hours for the monitoring company to notify us.  The police and the back-up key holder were never contacted.  We were mislead to believe that the alarm system was ADT, which we later found out is actually ADTS.  We contacted ADT and were advised not only were they not affiliated, but that they had received numerous complaints regarding the company and the misleading business practices associated with the alarm service.  The services provided by this company are extremely poor.
