I'm truly suprised at what I'm reading here. I'd just like to say as a member of over 2 years with AdultFriendFinder and ALT.com, I am a standard member. I've met alot of people on the site, there are so very many who have come and gone, and ones that have had multiple handles (nicnames), and have deleted them, they are usually deleted right away upon request, a guy I personally know and have kept in touch with via yahoo, deleted all his handles at once and they were all gone within a few hours. I actually knew quite a few personally who have changed handles and requested their previous profiles be deleted and usually within a few hour it would be gone. Myself I have changed profiles/handles over the past 2+ years and deleted approx. 3 old ones on seperate occasions, and they were gone right away. I can't say I've ever had any problem at AdultFriendFinder that I've emailed them about that they haven't replied to or taken care of in a timely manner.AFF is one of the best dating/chat sites I've found on the net. Other than being a satisfied member of the site I am in no other way affiliated with them, I just know from personal experience and from friends that have had deleted profiles that profiles/handles are deleted quite often and are usually "Not found" in a matter of hours, and I've had nothing but favorable results with their customer service anytime I've had the need to contact them.

Below is the email from AFF which assured me the standard account had been removed. Today is Jan 3 , 2004 and the standard account is still up. We never had any problems with AFF until trying to close and remove this account. Once again, these are the original emails with my email address removed.
