I saw the ads for advanced cleanse and acai berry on www.news6report.com/, for free trial only pay shipping for $.99 each. I ordered them with my credit card, and received one bottle of each product. I did not see the very little thing you have to scroll to about the terms and conditions at the very bottom of the long page.



When I saw my statement from FIA card services, they charged me $299.90 for both products plus $8.98 for foreign transaction fees. so I called the bank, the lady at bank told me I have to call the company, I told her I don't have their number, she gave 877-244-0123 to call. I called number, the foreign lady told me, she will cancel my memership and give me Cancellation number (671305 and 671162), so they will not charge me any more and gave me a email to request my refund. so I emailed, but got a refund declined email back. 



They told me it's my fault I did not see the fine print at the bottom of the page. as long as after 14 days, there will be no refund. I told them I would like to pay for retail price for the products, but not $308.88 for them. they refused to return the charge and the credit card company does not want to help. What can I do to get my money back and to stop them from doing the same to others customers? Can a class-action suit be brought against them?



Also, the funds are going directly to a foreign account, a terroist group? Are they paying taxes on the money?



I think a bill about terms and conditions should be brought before Congress. It should be stateted that those terms and conditions must be of equal size to the rest of the ad.

Read The Small Print

Why does everyone scream class-action lawsuit when they don't read the small print?  The credit card company won't help you because YOU agreed to the terms, whether its in small or large print.  Thats where they have you and there is little you can do about it.  Terrorist group?  Did you think they were when you ordered it?  Or was it just after the fact?  You can't really call it a rip off when the terms are there for all to see.  Why is it small print?  Because if you really knew what you were up against you'd run like a scalded rabbit.  They are banking, literally, on your being taken in by all the fancy bells and whistles on the page in hopes you DON'T read the terms.  Unfortunately you did just that, so its Cha-Ching for them.
