I ordered a True Ceramic Pro Iron in 2005. I was charged approximately $150. After receiving the product, I was upset to learn that it does not use ceramic plates as it claims. It has metal plates with red paint that began to chip off.

At first I over-looked this because I thought maybe I misunderstood the design of the product. Then, six months later, I went to plug in the iron and it would not turn on.

December 20, 2005 I called ----------- , which is the customer service number I got off their website.

I talked with a lady named Maria at extension 268. I explained that my True Ceramic Pro had stop working and red paint was chipping off the metal plates. Maria continued by placing a new order for me. She gave me the order number (which was the original one from the first purchase - she said it was supposed to be the same). Maria claimed that I should get the new True Ceramic Pro in 10-14 days.

Time went by and a month passed. I had called the 1-888-number again to check up on my order. They had a selection menu that allowed me to select: Check your order status. Once in this option, a voice recording said that all back stock products had been shipped.

At this time I figured that with the holidays everything was taking a little longer.

When I went to call the 1-888-number again, I got a voice recording stating:

"Thank you for calling True Ceramic Pro Customer Service Center. We are currently updating our telephone systems to provide customers with faster and more individualized support. Regrettably at this time we cannot direct your call to a customer service representative. Please call at another time. For more immediate responses, email our or you can leave a message on our dedicated voice mail box and a representative will get back to you in the order that your call was received. Thank your for your patience."

I have called back several times, left many messages with my name, order number, phone number and email address. I even emailed their customer service address. No one has contacted me.

It is February 6th, 2006 and they are STILL updating their telephone systems. I know for a fact that it does not take over a month to set up a new telephone system. This is ridiculous.

I have no way to get in contact with the people who have completely scammed me out of $150.00 There is no mention of a state based location or address of any sort. I have made my messages very clear and no one responds.

Do not buy anything from this rip-off internet based company. If you see their products advertised anywhere, I would alert the advertisement company that they are supporting a rip-off company.

This is the saved email that I sent to their customer service email address:

I am a customer of Advanced Beauty Solutions. I recently purchased a True Ceramic Pro Infrared Ionic Styler. I was extremely pleased with the product, however, within my 6 month guaranteed warranty, my True Ceramic Pro stopped working. I went to plug it in one day and it would not turn on. I checked everything possible and it is a fault within the Infrared Ionic Styler.

On December 20th, 2005 (Tuesday) I called customer service. I spoke with Maria at extension 268. I explained what the situation is and she explained that they would send me a replacement. My order number is 84704. Maria continued to explain that it would be 10-14 days before I would receive my new True Ceramic Pro Infrared Ionic Styler.

It has been a total of 34 days since I have made that call. I still have not received my replacement Infrared Ionic Styler. I have waited patiently, knowing that it was holiday season. However, a week after I called, I called again to check on my order status. I selected the check your order status option on the 1-888 number. I was disappointed to discover that I could not actually check the status of my order. The voice message simply said that all back orders were finally caught up with. So, I assumed that within the next week I should receive my replacement.

For the amount of money I have paid for the Infrared Ionic Styler, I would expect better customer service. If I am a valued customer, I think that Advanced Beauty Solutions should be doing everything in their power to keep me as a satisfied customer. So far, I am very disappointed.

I called the 1-888 number today, expecting to talk to a customer service representative, only to find out that the customer service line is down because Advanced Beauty Solutions is making adjustments. I left a message with my name and number, along with my order number. I do expect someone to get back to me promptly. My number again ---

Also, the red paint began to chip off revealing the metal plates underneath. To my understanding, the Infrared Ionic Styler should have ceramic plates. I am confused as to why Advanced Beauty Solutions is advertising a product with CERAMIC plates, but shipping a product that has METAL plates. I was willing to overlook this as I was pleased with the results of the True Ceramic Pro. However, after waiting patiently for so long I am wondering why I should pay around $150 + shipping and handling for a product claims to be something it is not. Shipping and handling is about $15.00. Paying $15.00 to have my product put in the mail is slightly expensive. I could buy an Infrared Ionic Styler from Wal-Mart for $15.00. Yet, I chose to spend the extra money on a product that should be worth it. The Infrared Ionic Styler should have been in the mail by now and in my hands. It is not and I want some immediate action taken towards this.

If I do not receive my Infrared Ionic Styler, WITH CERAMIC PLATES, I will have no problem discrediting Advanced Beauty Solutions and reporting it to the Better Business Bureau. I will do everything in my power to prevent someone else from spending so much money on a false product.

It also has a video advertisement stating: "Beneath True Ceramic Pro dual sided triple fused genuine ceramic plates are edge to edge solid ceramic heaters that give you consistent heat from corner to corner"

"True ceramic plates get darker when heated, baked ceramics do not"

Unless I receive my True Ceramic Pro with CERAMIC PLATES, I will report Livemercial and CPA Warehouse to the Better Business Bureau for false advertisement and any other agency that sells Advanced Beauty Solutions products.

I do not wish to discredit Advanced Beauty Solutions, but if my situation is not addressed promptly and professionally, then I am left with no choice.
