advertiseonmycar.net Took my money, promised an outcome, then cancelled Utah
I signed on in July 2017 and was advised I would receive a 50.00 sign on bonus if I referred a friend. So I paid for 2 decals and a background check for myself. I was told if after 3 months nothing happened then I was guaranteed a $100 gift card for putting the decal on my car. I was also advised I would get a rebate back on the background check, which equaled the amount of the background check ($15.00).
After 3 months they tried to pull $35.00 for an annual fee and I cancelled the payment. They advised they would allow one more month before it would need to be renewed.
I called on 11/29/17 and reported I did not want the annual fee deducted and requested my account close. I requested my sign on bonus and the $100 gift card and was advised that I would only get the gift card if I paid the annual fee, which was never part of the original arrangement. I then tried to contact the company several times after their line disconnected and I have been unable to reach them.
