I FLEW INTO BARBADOS FROM JFK-NEW YORK AND UPON ARRIVAL, THE 2 PIECES OF LUGGAGE I CHECKED IN DID NOT ARRIVE WITH ME. NOW CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED ONE PIECE OF CARRY-ON WHICH CAN ONLY HOLD SO MUCH AND NO LIQUIDS ARE ALLOWED ON ANY FLIGHTS, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING WAS CHECKED IN. I WAS PROMISED THAT THE LUGGAGE WOULD ARRIVE THE NEXT DAY AND THAT SINCE MY FINAL DESTINATION WAS GRENADA THE LUGGAGE WOULD BE FORWARDED TO GRENADA. MY LUGGAGE DID NOT ARRIVE ON MONDAY AS PROMISED BUT ON TUESDAY I RECEIVED A CALL SAYING THAT THE LUGGAGE HAD BEEN FORWARDED TO GRENADA ON A LIAT FLIGHT LI 787 AND WOULD ARRIVE GRENADA AT 6.45PM.

AS I DO NOT OWN A CAR, I TOOK A TAXI TO THE AIRPORT AND WAITED FOR AN HOUR AND THIRTY MINUTES BEFORE I WAS TOLD THAT THE LUGGAGE DID NOT ARRIVE AGAIN, I HAD TO PAY FOR MY TRANSPORTATION BY TAXI BACK HOME. I LEFT HE US ON SUNDAY THE 3RD OF AUGUST AND ITS THE 6TH OF AUGUST TODAY, I STILL DON'T HAVE ANY TOILETRIES, CHANGE OF CLOTHES OR MY MEDICATION. THE AIR JAMAICA REPRESENTATIVE I SPOKE REALLY SHOWED NO CONCERN FOR MY SITUATION AND SAID THAT I SHOULD FIND OUT THE NAME OF THE PERSON THAT TOLD ME TO GO TO THE AIRPORT TO COLLECT MY LUGGAGE AS AIR JAMAICA WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REFUNDING MY TAXI FARE, NO FORM OF COMPENSATION HAS BEEN OFFERED ME WHATSOEVER. THE PEOPLE REALLY JUST DONT CARE.

THE LOCATION OF ALL MY BELONGINGS WITH WHICH I LEFT NEW YORK IS UNKNOWN TO ME. MY MEDICATION, TOILETRIES AND BOOKS ARE IN THERE, NOT TO MENTION ALL MY CLOTHES AND FOOTWEAR. I HAVE AN EXAM ON THE 12TH OF AUGUST AND SINCE I ARRIVED GRENADA I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DO ANY REVISION.

Very angry/distressed passenger

I have read a Gazillion times ''Always carry your Rx in your carryon luggage''.

I am a traveling Rx shop for my wife. I have an insulated carry-on complete with frozen jel packs and TWO types of (liquid) insulin. The PRIMARY requirement is that all meds must be in their original container & must be properly labeled as Rx for the passenger(s) carrying them. So far, there have been NO problems.
