Airmiles.ca airmiles rewards and airmilesshop.ca is a total joke. Their sites are impossible to navigate, you can barely log on and when you do you cannot find anything. You spend years collecting them and the only value of spending 90k on your card is getting a set of barbecue tongs. When it comes to service your better off asking for your local government to book your ticket. Each time you call if you ever get the right department your on voicemail jail for 9 minutes than when you reach the department you get. "We are experiencing a higher than normal call volumes your call will be answered in 15 minutes. Meanwhile 35 minutes goes by as you put the call on speaker and wait patiently. Bottom line cut to the chase. Any company that is paying this company to use them as a value added service is only helping the CMO get his 600k salary because NO one there does anything. No one there knows anything about vacation destinations as we were told our facility had a specific activity. We called and asked 3 times they confirmed it. When we arrived this activity never existed. To add insult to injury we emailed collector relations on our holiday expressing that it was urgent we here from them. We were away 3 weeks and emailed them on our second day. We need changes and were willing to use the remainder of our airmiles to do so. When we arrived home 3 weeks later 4 days after we were home, collector relations whatever that means...sends us and email asking if they can help us!!!! WHAT A F.....N JOKE.! So after collecting our hard earned airmiles we thought we had a great deal to get free airfare. Turns out for an additional $240 we could have booked this online without ever using a single airmile not be put on hold and have to be abused by their governmental process. You have to pay the taxes on all airmiles flights so whats the real value here!!!?? Spend a couple hundred bucks more and let these A-holes shuv it. Is it any wonder why the media had to put out a blast this month "You must use your airmiles by the end of this year or you will lose them" THATS BECAUSE AIRMILES SUCKS AND NO ONE WANTS TO USE THIS BRUTAL ZERO VALUE SERVICE. How much is you time worth. As well you can never get the flight you want they give you some shite flight that they get for next to nothing have you in stop overs never really giving you a direct flight to where you want to go. All in all we hope the banks and all major marketing people read this because its the truth. AIRMILES IS A COMPANY THAT IS AS CORPORATELY USELESS AS THEY ARE DEAF. SEND YOUR AIRMILES CARD TO IRAQ where it belongs or better yet, Airmiles should team up with HP or windows tech support and have some east indian book flights for their collectors. That way they could really save on labor. Maybe someone in India might even answer the phone within 35 minutes. We have better things to do than post this kind shite online but Airmiles really pissed us off and it was just on one occasion it has been on every occasion. Everytime we try and use our airmiles to book anything its like dealing with corporate terrorists. Theres a new one. AIRMILES ARE CORPORATE Terrorists.
