If you're coming to live on Maui, keep clear of Alan Muniz as your landlord. While living there, I was getting electric bills for $925.00 a month because Alan had a faulty hot water heater that ran all the time. Also, we had no hot water unless we wanted to go to the garage and enter a dirty, nasty, dusty closet to flip a valve that allowed the hot water to make its way to our shower. It took forever to get this fixed and I got screwed out of a lot of money renting from this joker. STAY CLEAR OF MUNIZ!

Just read the rebuttal and I'm guessing it's little 'ol Alan himself or one of his cronies who typed that. Alan is Maui's version of Bernie Madoff - a rip off, con artist. I will once again say that if you are planning a move to Maui, steer clear of this guy.
The party responsible for the rebuttal obviously didn't want to take note of my original post and the nightmares it entailed. Outrageous electric bills, no hot water for months, jumping through hoops to get hot water, an absolute loon living downstairs that I had to collect money from for the electric bill (money which I'm still owed by the way). Shall I continue?
Sorry, but it's all true. I don't make things up against people. When someone does me wrong, I do them wrong in return.

I have known Alan for 5 years and have bought many properties thru him.He is one of the most highly credited realtors on the island.His integrity and ethics are of the best.I would do business with him again and again.I truely believe that the person trying to smear Alan's good name is in the wrong and obviously is a very difficult person to deal with.Alan only has the best intentions when dealing and doing for others.To anyone reading this please disregard the negative comments made against Alan as these people spreading lies against him are at fault and dramatizing the facts.Give Alan a chance and see for yourself the truth.
