When contacted about a quote I was given the cost of 4 men at $100/hr to pack and load my household furnishings. Then $80/hr for the drive. The total est was $1780.00 a move from Alexandria, Va to Fayetteville, NC.

When they arrived - there were only 3 men. I called the dispacher, but he didn't do anything to adjust the cost of labor. The dispacher talked with the foreman but nothing was said to me except by the consultant who gave me the orginal quote - in which he said that they would give me a discount.

They arrived 30 min late, not bad considering the traffic in the DC metro area. The started packing after I signed a bunch of papers. They didn't wrap half of the stuff they packed. I had my own boxes and showed them where they were, but they used their own until I put a stop to it and told them again that they were to use my boxes. At least they started using mine after that.

Items were just dumped into boxes - contents of drawers just turned over and dumped - that is when they bothered to empty the drawers. Some of the items we just left in the drawers and covered with a blanket and about 5 rolls of tape - oh BTW they charge extra for all the tape they used! At $3.00/roll (small roll) that added up fast.

10 hours later they finally finished packing up the household goods and had them loaded on the truck. Before they left I was informed that I needed to pay them for the full delivery. The cost at that point was $5800.00 I like to have died! I had a fit and demanded to talk to someone. I got them down to $4200 - but told them I would pay when they delivered.

Here it was, nearly 8pm and I was told that they would deliver at 3am the next morning! I asked them if they were kidding, since who in their right mind would deliver household goods at 3am! But, no I was told that he was serious. Consiquently I got in my car and drove as fast as I could to get to NC before them. Oh I got there in plenty of time - they didn't show up until 2pm the next day!! I had to sleep on the floor that night, waiting on them. Didn't dare leave just in case they did show up at 3am or some other time.

I had to sign the credit card slip before they would unload. Now the cost was at $4840.00!! I wanted to hit someone - I didn't but I sure had a good mind to do it. I signed the slip, heck had to, otherwise they would hold my stuff until I did pay!

It took them nearly 3 hours to unload - at that point I saw that they never marked any of the boxes to show the room they came from! Now I am broke, and stuck with a mess that will take me months to sort out.

I just want to warn everyone - don't use All Points USA movers - they have several offices in NY and FL so please beware!! They will only rip you off!
