Allegis Residential Services refused a complaint, told me to write a letter and hung up the phone on me, Internet
Due to an accident in our area yesterday, our community was without power and gas for several hours. When the power came back on in the early evening, the gas was turned on as well.However, in order for our buildings to have hot water, someone had to relight the pilots in each building, whose boiler rooms are under lock and key.
Instead of sending someone out last night to relight the pilots so we could have hot water, or at the very least having our maintenance crew show up early to light them, Allegis Residential Services just waited until normal business hours to take care of the situation. Now, we pay several hundred dollars in HOA fees to this company every month and it was unacceptable to me that they did not send someone last night to relight our pilots so we could have hot water.
I called and left a message to complain, and my call was returned by a woman who was rude and defensive in her tone right from the start. I became defensive with her as well when I realized she was not accepting my complaint and she told me to write a letter to my board and hung up on me. Now I have to call the management company and hope they will accept my complaints, plural now because I have to complain about the rude woman who called me back. Unacceptable services.
