Alyon Technologies sent us a totally unexpected bill, for "PREMIUM WEB CONTENT - ADULT" which no-one in our family accessed. The amount was nearly $500, for times and dates when everyone in our family was asleep. When we contacted the company, they claimed that the access had occurred, and could not possibly have occurred "automatically." They insinuated that our teenage son must have accessed the site without our permission or knowledge, further insinuating that we were negligent in our parenting by not monitoring his web access. Our son never accessed their site, nor did anyone else in the family. Our son did find three "porn dialers" on our computer, that no-one had downloaded, and used Spybot to remove them. Since this initial contact, we have read many reports about others being billed spuriously by Alyon for outrageous amounts.
