American Allied Financial The Biggest ripoff Washington District of Columbia
I too was a victim of American Allied Financial or whoever they may be. I found the site on the net, filled out the short application, was contacted by phone by a Paul Russell. He emailed me an application that I filled out and faxed back to him. He called and told me that I was approved for a loan in the amount of $7000 that required me to put down a $700 security deposit.
I was told to send the money via Moneygram to a LaShawnda Lewis in Decatur, Georgia. After doing so, I contacted him and gave him the MTC # from the transaction. He gave me the number of a Mike Brown 1-800-997-8027 and stated that he would contact me within 24-48hours. Of course, he didn't so I called him.
He told me that there was a security issue and that the money would be deposited into my account within 10 business days. After that time I was able to speak with Mike Brown once and he assured me that the deposit would be made within 2 days. I have yet to see this deposit and I can't reach him or Paul Russel at either of the numbers that they gave to me.
As a hard working citizen I think this is sad. How could these people be so cold and heartless to rip people off for the little amounts of money they are able to save. If anyone has any further information on this situation please let me know because I want these people prosecuted to the fullest.
