Well I believe in being fully honest. What was not disclosed in my report was that i have a risky driving record including a DUI. I did not disclose this because normally past driving record is used to asses your premiums and not the payment of a claim. The accident occurred on my way to a classical music concert with a new date. It occurred during the day and certainly was not alcohol related.
My intuition tells me the company pays based on character and not just behavior. So you're personal character is assessed in getting paid. I say this because i believe these are some former college mates. And they are nice sweet people. In America today, most company's work based on behavior specifically related to the business. Perhaps this company feels that that is one of the things wrong with America today. This is conjecture on my part.
I am sending a letter to them to please disregard my claim and give the money to the next alcohol related claim they get. It is my belief that the alcoholic has a greater need than myself.
