So very sorry that they did nothing. It deflates ones objective when they turn the report into a "law" says....mentality. What about animal rights? I cannot tell you how it broke my heart to see a strong person challenge the care of these animals only to be turned away....Please stay true to this cause!
I support your efforts and hope you'll continue to take notes and report when need be. My Home State is #1 for these puppy mills and its shameful that I have to endure the backlash from a state that still ALLOWS it! Within a 50 mile radius the owners of such have been fined. They pay the fines and continue the cruelty...simply because our state likes the revenue from the fines more then doing the right thing! Sad....deplorable.

The animal enforcement officers of the SPCA were notified and the place was investigated. Unfortunately, due to outdated and ineffective animal cruelty laws, since the puppies had food, water, shelter and were supposedly under veterinary care nothing was done.

I joined ripoff report just to follow american puppy club. I went in there to look at the dogs and found the entire senario odd. I came home and started researching and was horrified. They have been using these methods and practices for how many years under different names? It is time that these people are stopped once and for all. Call the SPCA or police. That room in the back is enough. I remember holding that little puppy in my lap. His breathing was off. It was audible. I would love to know how they come up with the numbers?
I think planning a day where a bunch of perspective customers go in and question them on all there insurance policies and why they are so and pricing and paperwork and their vet and so called trainer all at once would be so much more effective then the picketing. They don't care about that.
You my dear they would care about. How many more little kids losing there pups at christmas or people paying thousands of dollars for a sick dog and then thousands more to save it while the owner spent no more than a couple hundred on can it take.

True to life your story is. Now as an Adult , who did you formally report this to? Please tell me you contacted the police and filed a report? Please tell me you are of sound mind and willing to make good on your statements. It does zero good to come here and write the tale of woe if you aren't going to actively follow the reporting to authorities. Have a wee bit of guts to do what is right by these animals.
