Rip Off Pay-phones
I came into some money recently and wanted a good place to
invest my money. I came across this company that sells pay-phones. We alked several times over the phone, and the guy told me of all the money I would make in just a short time. He told me that there wasn't much to do but buy these pay-phones from his company, then a locator would contact me within a month to place the phones in the already pre-placed locations.
Well, it has been almost 6 months, the phones are still in the
boxes in my garage, I am out $9,448.00.
That is with the price of the phones, locator fees, installed phone lines, and enclosures for the outside locations of the phones.
I called the company back and asked that if I wanted to return
the phones, since they were still in the boxes and that I would pay for the postage too. I was told very firmly that there was a "no-buy back agreement" and that I was just stuck with the pay-phones.
I feel that I was uninformed. I felt that I had the option of
"always" returning merchandise that was not used and also had the receipt. Apparently I was wrong?
