Ameritrain Inc. is a rip off!

Don't go there for anything!!!

In Feb. 2002 I signed up to take an A+ NET+ classes and MCSE class as well.

I took the A+ and NET+ class. I DID NOT receive the 100% hands on training I was promised! I received 30% hands on and 70% books and lectures. When I finished they tried to change the MCSE class on me. They wanted me to go to class on Mon. Wed. and Thurs. Not the Tuesday and Saturday class I signed up for.

I put my training on hold till the next class I could go to came around.

My company pulled a schedule change on me and because of it I won't be able to go to classes for atleast two years. I called the Charlotte center about 50 times over three days but no one ever answered. I called the coporate office and tried to talk to someone there and they put me on hold for almost an hour and then disconnected me "by mistake."

When I called back they put me in touch with a training person who told me that they wouldn't return my money that I haven't used because my scheduling problem wasn't their fault. They also told me that they'd already spent the money!!!

The man could tell I was getting ticked so he told me to write the companies Vice President, Steven Gouveia and tell him my problem in my letter.

I ovenighted the letter and sent it certified. I have yet to receive a response and no one answers my calls either at the Charlotte center or the corporate headquarters.

In short, this company is FULL of empty promises. Their ideas of 100% hands on training is a LIE. They have had many complaints via the BBB. Their instructors are great but they should start their own company. They were the companies only redeeming quality. They even stated to me and my classmates that the 100% hands on and the Dell Computers were a lie.

Take my advice and the advice of others, this company is a ripoff and is totally deceptive in their practices.

On their walls they have a bunch of "thak you letters" the salesman touts them as a great thing. Once you take a closer look there are only 3 or 4 of them from the Charlotte center. the rest are from their other centers. and all of them have been copied and duplicates are hanging up everywhere. We counted only 27 original letters of the overall count of 125 the rest were all duplicates.

In the break room they have posted "job openings" if you look at the dates they are all at least 8 months old and have closed.

This is just some of the deception that goes on in their center.
