Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was on my way to work when I received the call from one of their telemarkters. He said that I would get a $1000 shopping spree and all I had to do was order a few magazines. I told him that I didn't need any magazines and he said to me, "Do the math, for a couple hundred dollars of magazines that you would receive over 5 years you would get a $1000 shopping spree at an on-line dept. store." I ask him what the store sold and he said household furnishings, jewelry, clothing, electronics, etc... He said they were a department store like Sears or Montgomery Wards. He was very persistent and I was in a hurry to leave for work; I figured what the hell I am getting $1000 worth of merchadise for ordering a few magazines. I can't lose. I really didn't want the magazines but the $1000 shopping spree from an on-line department store comparable to Sears or Montgomery Wards would defray the cost of the magazines. I agreed to the proposition. I would buy some clothes, maybe even a T.V.. Well the online dept. store turned out to be a web-site that sold cheap JUNK from China or some other third world country. They sold bird feeders and cheap bracelets that weren't worth the cost of the shipping you had to pay to get them. Their electronics dept was limited to a cheap transistor radio that was worth about half of what the shipping cost was. I immediately cancelled my debit card to prevent them from taking any more of my hard earned money from me checking account. I called them and demanded my money back based on the fact that they lied to me about this so-called shopping spree.

At this point I had received no magazines. They told me that that was impossible. They could not cancel the order and that they had me on tape aggreeing to their scam. They offered me a $100 gas card instead of the $1000 shopping spree. Yeah I'm going to trust you now. I declined. They have constantly been calling me since, and now have a collection agency calling me as well. I will not pay the balance, even if it ruins my credit. It's the pricipal that they blatently lied to me about the on-line dept. store comparable to Sears or Montgomery Wards. What a joke. Unfortunately the joke was on me. I will never again order anything by phone or on-line
