I actually wanted to corroborate a report named "Ellipsis, Aqua Travel, Reddrick ripoff Mortgage Brokers, dangles the carrot to recruit people to work for nothing! very few people make money Aliso Viejo California" but in order to comply with Rip-off Report's request to file my own report, I submit the following.

I totally agree with the above mentioned report. Aqua Resource Group as I have come to find out has a long track record of deceptive recruiting practices as well as deceptive and dishonest business practices. I was lured in by the company's job posting on Monster.com.

It stated they were only looking for a five top sales people but they are really hiring around 7 people a week because the turn-over rate is so high. Then they emphasize that you WILL be making a six figure income in the first nine months, which is totally bogus. You would have to make OVER 3 sales a month for 9 months straight to make a six figure income.

Some people work there for over a month before quitting and without a penny to show for it. I understand that not everyone is a good sales person and sales is not for everyone, BUT when you try to pass a position off for something that it is not. Misleading potential employees to believe they will be making six figure incomes and that you will be making at least 2 sales a month and that the product we sell works and takes pain away from the customer, you become a liar and you begin to exploit the innocent, you ruin lives, and you make people part of your lie.

As far as the six figure salary quote, nothing can be further from the truth. No one was even close to that pace while I worked there. Not even the top sales person. Then they try to pass off a salary plus commission option which they say will carry you through until you start to make sales.

Yeah right, it was around $600.00/bi-weekly, if you could make the quota, which was also difficult to make, so even this "more stable" base was not guaranteed. With some not making any sales at all, to live on this is a joke. Point is a lot of people do a lot of hard work and get paid nothing for it.

To make matters worse, I was appalled to hear from a fellow employee that around 75% of the customers were unsatisfied due to the fact that Aqua couldn't make good on the empty promises made in the contracts. No wonder it was so difficult to sell this marketing and advertising program. Most people have already heard of how bogus the program is.

They even warn each other against using the program in www.brokeruniverse.com (click on grapevine at top left and search for aqua or ellipsis). Almost everything we were trained to tell potential customers was a lie. We were trained to tell these people that we had been working in their area for a couple of weeks now, contacting realtors in their area. And now that there is enough interest in the program we were contacting them (Mortgage Brokers) because one or more of the realtors referred us to him/her.

When they ask how many realtors we have on board and ready to work with them, we are trained to tell them we have around 20 who would be ready to go, all we have to do now is find one broker to work with them all because it is supposed to be an exclusive deal. All lies.

The managers go on to say that they have already invested over $20,000 into the area contacting realtors and such and that is why we charge them the initial $26,000. All lies. These mortgage brokers sign the contract and pay the money, thinking we already have the realtors ready to go and that this area is exclusive just for them, when in fact we keep calling these same areas even if we already sold to a broker there.

It is amazing to me that this company is still in business. I don't know how they dodge the lawsuit bullet, but if their contracts are as deceiving as the sales tactics I can understand why. I also understand that some brokers just no longer have the money to sue since they spent all their money on the program.

Bottom line, Aqua Resource Group lies to potential employees, current employees, potential customers, current customers, and anyone else it has to in order to make money. They don't care if they ruin lives. They just want to extort employees for their labor and their customers for their money. DON'T EVER WORK FOR AQUA RESOURCE GROUP. And watch out for similar recruiting and business practices because this company changes their name regularly. This is their third name in the company's 8 year history and I am sure they are getting ready to change it again soon to throw off potential victims.

Watch out America.

If there is any confusion as to whether or not this is the same company that was formerly at: 65 Enterprise Aliso Viejo, Ca 92656 Then just to clear it up. Yes, it is the very same company. They recently moved towards the end of last year sometime. Aqua bought a brand new, state of the art building and is now a debt free company thanks to all the dirty money they extorted deceiving their clients. They are now located at: 39 Tesla Irvine, Ca 92618 Make sure you look up Ellipsis (Aqua's former name) on ripoff reports search feature for more information on Aqua Resource Group.
