A.R.C. ACCOUNTS RECOVERY CORPORATION LIES, DECEPTION, FALSE REPORTS, HARRASSMENT, VICTORIA British Columbia
I have been harrassed, lied to, and they have reported lies to the company they have been collecting. I was called and accussed of names that I am not, but still they insisted. I have been victim of identity theft and fraud, yet they know and they continue to try to collect despite I have reported to police and is noted on credit bureau. This is illegal and I have talked to credit counsellor whom states that this company is the worst for violations of the ACT to which they must adhere to. This company needs to be shut down immediately and charged.
What they are doing is damaging my ability to obtain credit in the future...I am trying to clean up after recently discovering all the fraud going on in my report.
They are less than helpful, rude, liars and won't stop calling even though they have a cease and desist letter on file...the excuse being "oh we don't have it"...which is a lie because I have confirmation they have it. Trying to talk to supervisors and managers are not very helpful either. They insist on trying to collect and not listen..they treat people with disrespect and ignorance, like we are all criminals. They are the ones that are the criminals.
I do have a debt outstanding, and in fact do pay directly the creditor. They won't accept that and insist payments must go through them. Talk to any credit counsellor, they will tell you that is not true. You can hang up them, especially since they are rude.
Anyone with a lawsuit, I would be interested in doing a class-action suit against them...
