Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I am a fairly recent EX employee of this unethical franchise. I worked there for about 8 months. It started after I was there for around 3 or so months, that my register came up short. $40 short. I was told that this shortage was going to be taken out of my paycheck without further explanation. Questions were asked and unanswered. I took the $40 hit (starting wage was $5.50/hr.)and basically worked an 8 hour day for free. Well, a few weeks later a girl that worked there was $78.00 short. She was told she could split the shortage with the other person on duty that had worked on her register. There were people on my register too, but I was never given that option. Wait, it get's worse.

I had not been short since, having learned my lesson to pay closer attention. Well, Christmas day I worked with the same girl who was $78 short on her drawer previously. It was fairly slow, but there came a time where I had to utilize both registers. I had done it before and consider myself very good at it. I was on her drawer for about 10 minutes. She came up $100 short that day. I was told I had to split it with her. Once I got the news that I was going to be held partially responsible, I put in my two week notice. And I made it known that I did not agree with this practice and because of my big mouth, made the boss man a little angry.

My last week, (the day after new years) I worked on my register, normal day (Ohio VS. Oklahoma game was going on at the stadium less than a mile away) pretty busy, but we had had the Cardinal games all season and I was NEVER SHORT. My boss comes up to me while I had my register OPEN, handed me a hundred dollar bill and told me he wanted Powerball tickets. One hundred Powerball tickets. (I also saw this on the security DVD I had asked to see when I was basically called a theif to my face with NO SUPPORTING EVIDENCE.) Now I should probably mention that the week before he spent the same amount of money and LOST IT ALL on powerball. I'd want my money back too! For some reason, I did not ring it up. I was distracted. My fault. I am readily taking on that responsibility. But in no way, shape or form, did I take that money. I may be a lot of things, but a theif is not one of them. I was told that ALL of the money (the whole $100) was coming out of my paycheck. I told them that I had not worked on my register alone, but that still didn't matter. Not only that, but they are threatening to withhold my W2 until they get their god awful shirts back. I lost one. Oops. So, they are discriminating against me and not following their OWN RULES. I believe in Karma. So does the Manager. You bet your AS* it will come back to bite them. Karma has a way of taking care of things.
