My company was hired as an independant agent for Armstrong Transport Group (1099 agent)
We moved around $32000 worth of freight in commissions due to my company. The owner of Armstrong held money from my business, week after week and then fired me as an agent holding around $13000 of my commisions. This has ruined my ability to do business. I am looking for a good transportation attorney, or a business attorney who can sue for with holding 1099 funds interfering with my ability to do business.
This money is owed and needs paid asap or I may be out of business!

I HAVE BEEN IN WEEKLY CONTACT WITH ARMSTRONG SINCE POSTING THE ORIGINAL COMPLAINT. ARMSTRONG APPEARS TO BE WORKING IT OUT. i WAS ALSO INCORRECT IN THE AMOUNT THAT THEY OWE ME, IT WAS ONLY $7578.75. i AM BEING TOLD I WILL HAVE MY FUNDS BEFORE CHRISTMAS. THE DELAY IN SETTLEMENT FROM ARMSTRONG TO ME IS BECAUSE OF A DELAY IN PAYMENT FROM MY CUSTOMERS. IN LOOKING BACK I WAS MOST DEFFINATELY IMPATIENT WHILE FILING THIS REPORT. I WILL POST ANOTHER UPDATE ONCE I HAVE BEEN PAID.
