Similar to other reports posted, Arturo seemed great in the beginning. He was very easy to communicate with and had fair prices. My first complaint with Arturo would be related to scheduling. My husband and I both have full time jobs and it was extremely difficult to get a proper time from him when he would be there (even a window of time). When I was able to reschedule things at work and come home, he would show up hours late. Not only that, but we would have to check in with him to see where he was and he would respond by saying it would be another hour.... then it was more than an hour. Again, similar to other reviews, Arturo had daily new excuses of why he would be late or not able to work a full day.
We let that slide knowing life can be complicated. The next problem was the lazy job of cutting glass tile. I am not sure if it was the type of saw blade or the approach to cutting glass tile, but needless to say we wasted a lot of money on shotty work. On every edge of the glass tile it is completely jagged... you can see it from several feet away. It is extremely noticeable once you apply grout as well as the grout makes its way into every crevice. I cannot stress enough how poor the cuts were. I understand glass is a tough tile to work with, but what I would have expected is a conversation about it. He cut all the tile and laid it and then put in the grout locked in the bathroom with the door shut so we had no way to see the progress. I would have expected him to bring it to my attention before completing it and leaving without comment. But fine, we accepted that too.
Lastly, the real problem we had. Arturo took our brand new 100 ft extension cord on his last day working. Yes, he was aware it was ours as they had one of their own and surely left with two. Not a big deal, but it has been well over a month now and we still have not managed to get it back from him. We contacted him immediately after he left, a few days later, a few days later again.... and then proceeded to contact him every single day until we got it back. The usual response is "sorry, i am busy, will bring tomorrow." Shortly after, we began to get no responses at all. Only after a month of daily texts, a final angry plead, and the threat of bad reviews online did he finally respond apologizing and again promising we would have it in a few days. Well, those days have yet again passed. He even text us one more time today as yesterday was the final deadline promise and still nothing.
It's just a cord, yes, but they aren't that cheap and he continues to lie and be 100% okay with stealing the cord from our garage and never returning it. I will be posting this review everywhere I can since having references seemed so important to him (he asked us several times).
STAY AWAY FROM ARTURO.. the lack of professionalism and decency and the end product is NOT worth it.

After reading this story about the stolen extension cord and its retraction, I thought I'd add my experience. When I told Mike Sanchez that I complained to the woman who referred him, he called me furious because she yelled at him.
He angrily threatened to leave the job and said I had a habit of dragging people's names through the mud. I felt intimidated and backed down because he put me in a corner. I have to wonder with these extension cord folks if he didn't intimidate them to retract their original story? Just a guess.
