I bought furniture from this store on 09-01-08. My sales no. is 105850. I bought two bedroom furniture sets for $2914.48 cash. Mr Manuel Zaldivar was consultant who helped me to buy this furniture. Mr Zaldivar told me estimate delivery date on 09-14-08.
When I called store on 09-13-08 and they transferred my call to Miss Tracy who told me its not possible to deliver on Sunday because they don't deliver on Sunday. My question is why I was given even estimated delivery time for Sunday when you people know you cannot deliver on Sunday and it was not even noticed until I called them.
Anyway then Miss tracy told me it will be delivered on Wednesday 09-17-08. When I asked her about what time it could be delivered I was told that time could be only given on Tuesday. Anyway when I called on Tuesday she told be time window between 10am and 2pm furniture will be delivered. On Wednesday about 10am I called to check ETA. Miss trace told me truck is in woodbridge and will be at your place any time soon.
I called back at 12.13pm same answer was given to me again. Called back at 2.12 pm and miss tracy's response was truck is stuck in traffic and will be at your place in about 45 minutes. before i was told truck is in woodbridge and after she told me oh no he is coming from frdriksburg. I checked online there was no traffic on any road.
Again I called at 3.05 pm and Miss Tracy told me she cannot contact the truck so she don't know when they can deliver the furniture. I asked to speak with her manager Mr David who said he is VP of T&T delivery and told me the time given to me was courtesy only and is not guaranteed. When I asked why I was not told this before he said quote I am not responsible for what you were told before. Mr David then told me it cannot be rescheduled to any other day and if you are not home your furniture will be retuned you will be charged for delivery twice and could not be rescheduled with T&T Delivery who are the only people can deliver ashley furniture.again I called woodbridge office and asked for store Manager at 3.32pm.
I was transferred to Miss Laura who said she is not the manager but she is team leader and is the person to talk if any problem with delivery or furniture. She also told me there is no manager in store on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. ( Amazing store is run without manager) I again called at 3.45 pm to Miss Tracy and she told me you better reschedule it some other day because we have another customers who even bought more stuff then you. I called Mr david at 3.52 pm he told me to call truck driver Mr Kareem 1-540-379-6611. I called Mr. Kareem and asked him how much longer its going to take he told me you are not scheduled as last customer and could not guarantee the time it could be 5-6-7-8-9-or even 10 pm. So I requested him please I will have to go to work if you can please come before 5.30 pm after many requests he agreed.
Finally furniture arrived with one defective piece at about 5.00 pm and took them about 1 hour to unload and I wasn't able to go to work anyway. before you buy furniture from this store just check my words just call store at 703-492-5861 and ask them you want to speak with manager because you have some problem with delivery you will never be able to speak with store manger. he is always in meeting or on vacation or off from work. plus when you buy anything for cash you are not protected i learnt it hard way. and if you call T&T delivery who are only people can deliver for ashley they wont answer it. but if you block your phone number they answer it on first bell. call them and see it yourself their phone number is 1540-834-0740 call them and ask for david who is vp of company and ask about this complaint
