I bought 2,162.24 of furniture from Ashley Furniture, Kissimme, Fl,

I wrote a check and was notified it was returned NSF. I checked with my bank and check was never presented for payment. 

Second call to store mgr. said the check was "unable to process" but they didn't know what that meant

Third contact - store mgr said check was lost! I was to send replacement check minus the 36.00 stop payment fee.Check was sent and after 10 business days, I called store manager again....

Fourth contact - Store manager said they lost the key to the mailbox and have no idea how to get a new one 

I have made several calls to corporate offices

I am now getting calls and letters from collection agency!! I have blacklisted for writing checks or opening bank accounts !

I faxed a letter to the CEO and CFO - no reponse and made  repeated requests to speak to someone who can resolve this issue.  No one responds other than store manager who just sends emails To corporate.

I need help as I will be applying for a mortgage and now I am blacklisted and my credit score of 840 will be diminished.  I have spent many hours on the phone  to local Ashley store, as well as corporate office and collection agency!

I gave Ashely Furniture a perfectly good check, I am aresponsible person and all the errors have been on going from Ashley but I am paying the price !
