AT&T Wireless ripoff dishonest fradulent billing; roaming charges while at home West Covina California
My cell phone would read cingular while I was in my home. I called and talked to 2 different people at AT&T customer service. They both assured me that I should not and will not receive roaming charges. They told me that they would put a note on my account that I would not receive roaming charges.
When I received the bill, needless to say, I got roaming charges. I called and talked to 3 different people. The first would said she would credit it back only as a courtesy, but it wouldn't happen again. I got into a discussion with her about how that didn't make any sense because I was using it at home, and she was very rude and said that their was nothing she would or could do. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she transferred me to another girl who wasn't even a supervisor. I didn't learn she wasn't a supervisor until the end when she started being remarkable rude and I ask her position. She said that their was no supervisor their and she was the highest I can talk to.
I called back and actually spoke to the supervisor and again they would not help me with my problem, they said I could cancel my service for $175.00 or be cautious using my phone at home. They would not waive the cancellation fee even though they were not providing me with the service I was paying for. And I received the worst customer service ever. I would never recommend AT&T to anyone. They are rude with not try to help you in any way and there is no one to talk to about your problems except the phone. I do not get roaming in most of the United States but I get roaming in my own home, how does that make any sense?
