This is my story. I am disabled on a very fixed income. My disability payments a month after my insurance is taken out is $424. I use the internet to sell bits and pieces of collectables on ebay. I live in an area where you can't recieve high spped internet unless you pay an ungodly amount of money. I used an AT&T phone on Straight talk, when my phone died I decided to try AT&T because their service worked with the Straightalk phones. So I go into the store and the sales person who identified himself as DJ Washington assisted me. I told him that I don't understand all of this computer language so could he please explain it to me the best that he could in terms I could understand. He tried selling me all this overpriced things and he did suceed in talking me into purchasing a box that you could take with you anywhere and you could recieve high speed internet on it.  He gets me a tablet by Apple and says it sells for over $600 and this box that is going to cost me only $1. I tell him I like to watch movies and in lay mens terms how much time or usage does this take. Now this is his full time job so he knows exactly how much it takes to watch a movie. He says about 1 GB. The plan he offers me has 10 GB. Like an idiot I think he is honest. I make the agreement he skips through a lot of things and lets me know that the phone I purchased from them has a $35 restocking fee. But I tell him that was fine I wanted the phone. A GO Phone. He tried sucking me into buying an I Phone. I would not even know how to use one and thank God I didn't get one.

The 2nd day I had items I noticed that they allowed me my whole months worth of GB for the 3 days, I called to  make sure it wasn't a mistake and they said Oh No that is for you to be able to set up your initial items. So I can't get my computer to go online line and again Thank God for small favors because I would have cancelled my Hughesnet if I had. I already lost $50 on my Straight Talk by switching to a Go Phone. I tried to watch a movie that evening and it used 4 GB out of the 10 I was alloted in a month. I am 57 years old and have a bad back but nothing is wrong with my brain. I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF by this salesman who looked me right in the eye and lied. But it gets worse. Worried about letting this go into the month I had already paid for I returned the equipment on day 2. Supposably no one was there that could help me. Waited all day long in Olean to talk to a manger I was promised over and over they would call. 38 hours later they finally find time in their busy schedual to call, my time means nothing of course. I get hit with almost 100 dollars in restocking fees, the woman says they can't resell a $600 plus Apple tablet which of course we all know is just another lie. So please beware of these people they are liars and thieves and they are good thids is their job.
