I got the call from my friend who told me about the deal I can't pass up on. We met with these guys selling speakers out the back of their white van. They were two white guys, mid to late 20s. One about 6' 180 lbs with short spiky hair and an earing; and the other who never left the van I'd guess to be 5'9", 200 lbs with short sandy blonde hair. The story went that they were going to the local "Hooters" to install a new sound system and that the boss ordered too many sets of speakers. This was a common occurence to the fact where he ended up with a plasma tv through the company. The company they supposedly worked for was Extreme Audio Professionals (something like that!) they had business flyers and the speaker systems they sold were audiofile THX 6.1 surround sound system with the same old suggested retail of $1999. They needed to sell them for $300 a box to bring the supply to a small loss. I got home and "googled" the model of speakers only to have a list of ripoffreport.com display. After reading the reports I called my friend and we reported the incident to the police. We called the 1800 # that was on the van and looked into the business address posted on the van. both were wrong. I gave the license plate # to the police and have not heard anything back yet. I called the radio station to share my story with the local public.

Did you get any receipt from the guy? I myself fell for the same BS only a couple days ago, but I got a receipt which has return and refund instructions right on it, etc. If you did, just follow the instructions. Normally you only have 3 days to mail out the copy of the receipt. Hope it's not too late!
