avangate bitdefender charged me for an annual renewal when I never signed up for one, even canceled the original service the first day as they tried to upsell me $300 Redwood City California
This company is a ripoff.
I ordered bitdefender and instead of getting a download link, they called me on my phone and tried to upsell me $300 service to "clean" my computer. I declined and after a go-round with PayPal, got the charge reversed but then months later, they have tried to charge me $89.99 for an annual renewal for their service.
At first, PayPal was not going to reverse the transaction, until I called them.
I did not authorize this annual renewal and this company is a fraud. Their officers should be in jail.
