I have been a customer of Avery Air for over twenty years. Our AC quit blowing cold and we called Avery. The Avery tech told us that the furnace was installed improperly installed and the blower was out. We had indeed bought the furnace from Avery six years ago at about $6,000. They tech said the unit was out of warranty and he would have to go get the part and he would call us to install. We never heard back and i called that afternoon and was told the service manager, Troy would call me about our euipment. Never heard and called back just before five and the girl said he was out. i asked if he had a cell phone? she said he did not. I find that very strange in todays world. Everyone has a cell phone.

Frustrated I called another company that came out this morning at 8:00AM. Levy and Son's tech looked over the system and determined that the system was out of freon. Six pounds of freon later the AC was blowing cold. Nothing wrong with the blower either. the Levy tech stated that the duct work from the furnace was not up to code and needed to be replaced. Avery had done the original install and left the new install improperly done. Sloppy, poor work.

Long story short, I never heard back from Avery nor were my calls returned. $1,000 later Levy has corrected Avery's sloppy work and I am happy.

Do your self a favor and never use these crooks, Avery will frustrate you and try to steal and rip you off. You have been warned.

I had the same technition, Troy.  He ripped me off for a service call of 89.99.  He went to my attic to see why it wasnt blowing cold air.  He checked for leaks, but didnt bother to look at the evaporator coil or the filter.  His diagnosis was to sell me a new condensing unit, when in fact I called another company that was a Carrier a/c company.  It was an evaporator coil and txv valve that was installed incorrectly by the origional contractor.  TROY TRIED TO SELL ME SOMETHING I DIDNT NEED. I called the origional company that installed the wrong part and they are coming out in the morning to replace the coil at NO CHARGE. 

Stay away from Troy and Avery Air.   THEY ARE CROOKS!
