Bank Of America Being punished for 15 years of paying my credit card off on time Wilmington Delaware
I have had a Bank of America Visa card since 1995. Up until this morning, my limit was $18000 & I never had a problem with them. I received a call from them out of the blue today, telling me they wanted to drop my credit line from $17,900 all the way down to $500. That's not a mistake, YOU READ IT CORRECTLY !! From $17,900 all the way down to $500 stinkin' dollars. WHAT THE F#@% !!!?? That's what the line was when it opened in 1995 !! An 18 year old can get more. They said that because I'm DISABLED, & based on my income(social security) , I didn't deserve the good credit I've spent all this time building !!! All these years of paying my bills on time & being responsible meant NOTHING to them. POOF , My credit line was GONE, just like that ! I did, however, speak to a supervisor, & get it raised back to $12000. He said they lowered my limit because I wasn't using it enough. I suppose in the eyes of BANK OF AMERICA, anyone who is smart enough to stay out of debt is NOT CREDIT WORTHY . Any way you look at it, even at $12000 limit, they just stole A FULL THIRD OF MY CREDIT LINE , with no prior warning or excuse. I would warn anyone who does business with these people, especially the DISABLED & ELDERLY, to watch your back. These people will screw you , as well. I spent 15 YEARS BUILDING MY CREDIT WITH THIS COMPANY, without a single blemish. I guess if you're not out DIGGING A GRAVE OF DEBT FOR YOURSELF, they don't want you !

VACATION and you had taken that credit card along with you in order to rent a car, and use it to go to restaurants, & purchase other items, such as gifts, etc. Imagine being on vacation, believing that your CREDIT LIMIT is intact, and all of the sudden your available balance is only $500. ISN'T IT AMAZING THAT BANKS ARE DOING THIS TO PEOPLE AFTER THESE SAME BANKS RECEIVED 'TARP' MONEY, WHICH IS TAXPAYER'S MONEY? We're being told that in order to stimulate the economy we should be SPENDING money, correct? I wonder if President Obama knows what's really going on? He IS in charge, isn't he? The GOVERNMENT is now a MAJOR SHAREHOLDER in many of these banks, right? Isn't the GOVERNMENT supposed to be looking out for the American people? WHY is the government BENDING OVER and OBEYING every wish by these banks, which are all Wall Street banks? All of what's happening certainly backs-up what was said in the documentary entitled- 'THE OBAMA DECEPTION', wouldn't you agree?
