Barcareers ripoff total scam false statements sevice not rendered Santa Barbara California
I found an add advertising bartending jobs on careerbuilder and called a number they had listing inquiring about job positions. They told me that in order to be considered that I would need to take their license exam and buy their kit for a total of 96 something dollars. Well they didnt tell me about their account generation charge or their 10 dollar a month membership charge and i recieved those bills in the mail.
When I spoke with the representative he guarenteed me a job within 2-3 weeks. I did not even receive the initial kit for 2 weeks then was required to submit some forms to request the exam needed to take in order to apply for jobs. I faxed out the request form immediately but never recieved the exam. It has now been 5 weeks now and am not even eligible for jobs because i havent received the exam that i need to fill out and send back to be considered for jobs. I called them back again today pretending to be another customer and was again guareenteed a job within 3 weeks. I have called customer service numerous times now and they keep giving me the run around. I would like to press charges against them for falsication of information (lying), failure to provide services after they have been paid for and for fraud. I have found various reports about this agency and would like to see an investigation performed and the organization shut down.
