I have had it with this bank! My husband gets direct deposit every week the same day and has been for over 20 years. I finally found out that BB&T "memo-post" ( their legal term for using my money) my husband deposit. They say the funds are available but then they are not. They seem to use a different 24 hour clock than most people. To me 12:00 a.m is the next day, yet they don't post the deposit till 12:00 a.m the next day. (he gets paid every Thursday and they bank posts it on Friday.) They same thing happens to my online banking transfers. The money is coming from their bank between my accounts and they still do the fuzzy posting. Granted I am not the best bookkeeper,but I check my account 2 to 3 times a week to make sure things have cleared and to transfer my money if I need to. I told them the purpose of using the online banking is to keep from getting the NSF fees. I am like a dog with a bone; I am not going to give up. I am writing the FDIC and FTC and anyone else I can find. They have a bunch of lamebrains working for them that but into the crap that the corporate office gives them. The days of customer satisfaction is gone. I am moving our accounts to a small hometown bank here in town.
