Beauty & Truth or My Beauty and Truth False free-lure automatically charging big bucks monthly SCAM St. Louis Missouri and Nationwide
At no time during the first order was I advised the minuscule tiny amount represented the free trial product. It was a small sample. Not the regular jar. And immediately a regular sized jar accompanied the sample, with a $100 charge that was an automatic charge. I opened the first amount thinking it was free, not realizing the false claim that only the tiny little sample piece was the free item, and I was being charged $100 for the jar. I called upon the 2nd invoice to return it and cancel. It took a long time to reach a customer person. My account was cancelled, but I was engaged through a long and heavy scrutinized conversation that I could only be charged a smaller amount if I chose to keep the product. I told them no, I wanted to cancel and return everything. Then, I was told I would only be charged half and the other half would be credited when the product was returned. I called a month later, not receiving any credit, and was again harassed in a critical conversation whether I had included the code number and addressed it to the right address -- which indeed I had done correctly I told them because I was very careful to do so. They told me I would need to wait. And I have without any response or any total refund. These people are skilled at creating a complex scam to lure a person into trying their product without fulfilling any responsible customer service or follow-through. If they have a business license it needs to be revoked. And they need to be prosecuted for false advertising and withholding refunds. I used a debit card, not a credit card.
