Bergers Auto Service And Towing ripoff towing service highjacking vehicles and holding for storage Girard Pennsylvania
As a legal representive of my son kenneth s. private first class serving in mosul iraq, I file this report on bergers towing who while my son was on leave last January he wrecked his car on icy roads.
Bergers towing was called by state police. Bergers towing arrived and told my son the vehicle had to be towed to his garage and never mentioned his 15 a day storage fee. My son had to leave two days later for KY.
My son filed a claim with his ins company. 3 weeks later Mr Shellenberger refused a 550 amount offered by ins company 50 more then he was owed.
My son was sent to Iraq 4 weeks later and I personally as did my son of this. 5 months later and a lot of harassing phone calls mr shellenberger filed court papers sueing my son for 4500 in storage fees knowing he couldn't be there because of serving his country in iraq. We represented him and got a continuance and had the judge release the vehicle to us or mr shellenberger would have charged my son up to the time of his return. We have other stories of this business' deceptive business practices.
