"Fact: I bought a Best Buy labeled product. Not an Apple, not a Toshiba.
Best Buy. Their label. I have purchased other store's house-labeled
product and gotten warranty service in-store. So far Best Buy is the only one that has referred me to their manufacturer."
I'm quite sure the only 'Best Buy Labeled" item you will see in a Best Buy store, is a giftcard. Go look at the packaging again, as I'm sure you've missed the point here. Best Buy doesn't make the products, they sell them, and that's exactly what they did.
They give you 30 days to return it. It clearly says that in-store (GIANT SIGN by every customer service desk) and on the back of your receipt. You being aware of these policies (just like any other store) is your obligation.
Either way, what were you expecting? To beat the life out of the case, and just magically get a new one every six months? That's called a replacement plan... But I'm not even going to get into that.
Good luck, and happy trolling.

Let analize your comment:
Speculation: I suspect you are either a Best Buy employee, or a troll.
Fact: I have never worked for Best Buy or any retail store. As I clearly labeled my rebuttal, I just had a consumer comment. Anyone who doesn't agree with your short-sided opinions must have an agenda, right?
Insanity: I submitted the exact same report to over 50 sites.
Translation: Pay attention to me!!! My problems are really important! Please don't shop at Best Buy if you're as ignorant and negligent as me!
Repeated Ignorance: I bought a Best Buy labled product. I have purchased other store's...blah blah blah
Truth: It doesn't matter how other stores did anything. When you purchase from Best Buy or any store, you are agreeing to their policies. If you had a concern about what their policy is regarding people who break everything they touch, you should have asked prior to purchasing.
Denial: I am not a drama queen.
Truth: Yes you are. 50 sites over a case that was probably $20? There is no doubt you want the whole world to hear about how big bad Best Buy ripped off the little guy. In half the time it took you to post this, you could have made the money back by collecting empty beer cans around your trailer park. Any reasonable person would say your reaction to this situation is very overblown, especially since you're wrong to begin with.
More insanity: I am a media monger.
Translation: See previous translation.
The fact is you could have just took it up with the manufacturer like you were told and went about your life. Posting on 50 sites isn't going to lose Best Buy one customer. Get over yourself already.

In looking over the rebuttal/update guidelines, I fail to see where your comments trivializing my report fell within those guidelines. You did not relate a similar experience, did not supply any information which supported or contradicted my complaint, or any other useful information relating to my report.
You did, however submit a rebuttal that is in violation of the guidelines by posting "Rumors, speculation, or innuendo" I suspect you are either a best buy employee, or a troll.
Let's look at your rebuttal:
Speculation: You must really need attention bad to be making this trivial of a complaint on at least 3 different websites.
Fact: You use a really bad search engine. I submitted the exact same report to over 50 sites.
Rumor: The manufacturer is the one who gives you the warranty. Not Best Buy.
Fact: I bought a Best Buy labeled product. Not an Apple, not a Toshiba. Best Buy. Their label. I have purchased other store's house-labeled product and gotten warranty service in-store. So far Best Buy is the only one that has referred me to their manufacturer.
Innuendo: And yes, this would have happened at any other store as well, so make sure to boycott shopping altogether you drama queen.
Fact: 1) See my previous comment regarding house-branded in store replacement. 2) I am not a drama queen. Ask any of my friends and they will tell you I am a media monger.
