My husband purchased a digital camera, and we were not satisfied with the quality of the pictures, the pictures were blurry and grainy. Prior to buying the camera, we did our homework on the camera, and read numerous reviews stating the camera was an excellent camera for $400.00.

After taking the camera home and taking 50 or more pictures we found the pictures were blurry and grainy. We went back to Best Buy San Bernardino to return the camera, at that time the customer return clerk told us of their 15% restocking fee, we told her that there is something wrong with the camera, and that it doesn't take good pictures, the clerk then said she would have her tech department check the picture quality. We saw three or four employees laughing, and taking pictures with the camera, then the clerk and another lady came back with the camera and showed us one of the pictures they had taken, the other lady said the picture looked good. We still didn't think the picture quality was good, so I asked to talk to a manager. The other lady, who had said the picture looked good, said she was the manager, and that there would still be a 15% restocking fee.

When I became frustrated and continued to argue with the manager about the restocking fee, she told the clerk to just do the refund and get them out of here, (her attitude was unprofessional and unbecoming). The next thing I knew, they handed me a return receipt, and walked away with the camera, and I'm standing there holding a return receipt with a 15% restocking fee. My husband was very upset and started telling other customers not to buy anything at Best Buy, because they couldn't return an item without being hit with a 15% restocking fee. All of the sudden he was surrounded with 3 or 4 men, store employees, one right in front of him, yelling you need to leave the store. I think they were trying to intimidate or maybe aggravate my husband into hitting one of them, but he's just not that kind of person. So as he is walking out of the store with the men still surrounding him, he is still telling other customers about the 15% restocking fee, and the one store employee who is walking in front of my husband facing him yelling you need to be escorted out of the store. I don't know why they had to surround him, he was leaving.

I then tried to get the camera back, because I did not authorize the return. They would not give me the camera back and void the unauthorized returned credit with a 15% restocking fee on it. Mike Johnson, who was the man doing all the yelling as my husband was leaving the store, told me he wouldn't do any more business with me, at this time my husband is waiting in the car for me. I even called their corporate department and they can't help me either. Now I have a $60.00 charge on my credit card from Best Buy and received no product. They just got over on me for $60.00.
