I buy tires from this company quite often. Most of their items are as described and WHENEVER there is an issue, they either have replaced or reduced the price of the tire. Maybe different people there handle things differently. Either way, i cant say enough good things about the way they do business. I am also a shop owner and dont really like buying used tires, but in this economy, it is a necessary evil. You should give them another chance! Everybody has a bad day in our business....

I undestand that sometimes issues are caused by lack of communication. I'm glad you are one of those who have had good luck but please consider there are many consumers who have not had such a great experience.
Consider the used tire market and where VYC gets their supply. Obviously there is a high risk of damage, holes, etc. Given this, it would be good if VYC's process included a robust inspection including air check. Apparently it does not, or it's very poor because most of the issues posted are about this. I don't think anyone excpects unconditional warrranties, only that the tire is accurately represented and holds air. Is that too much to ask? What would it cost to send replacements or refunds to the few who had legitimate issues? How about improving your inspection process to PREVENT issues? I'm sure if VYC made an attempt at this you would not see all this chatter. Its about doing whats right. Quit blaming the customer and take responsibility for what you sell.

I have dealt with these folks with over 2 years and bought quite a few tires. they have always done right by me and when there was a problem, they resolved it immediatly. I think they would try to resolve things if there was an issue. Communication is key!
