Please note that I am using much of the language from report #730387, because that person did a good job of summarizing the situation (theirs was filed just yesterday). But I add and additional, clearly intentional and deceptive practice.  It is very important to look at the attachment to this report as the pictures and my notes are compelling.  Please read:

This site has a very deceptive process of registering so you can bid on items. As soon as you press the register button you have been charged $99.00. This purchases "bids" which you need to use to bid on the merchandise.  Never saw it coming. Site states registration is free.  The worst part of this, and the best evidence of their intention to deceive, is that the site points you to the lower right hand corner of the screen to enter your information  What you don't see is that in the upper left hand corner there is a pre-checked box with the $99 charge. Any legitimate site would show the charge right by where you enter your credit card info (and as you will read soon, I see visually with my attachment, sometimes this very site does do it in a much more reasonable manner).  The only reason I put my credit card in before a purchase (which admittedly, I did pause), but since they say they are like eBay but "better", I just thought it was like Paypal, your credit card is stored (or in my case debit card...even worse since I just lost my grocery money and I have 3 children coming to spend 5 days with dad...who just got scammed...sorry for the digression).    The owners must have been former magicians (or consulted with them when designing the site) because the technique of deception is almost identical...you don't see the trick because they have you focused elsewhere...This is just wrong!

Wow...I just learned something new.  I went back so that I could do screen prints to create something to send to ripoffreport.com, and this time, although still "pre-checked" there was a $60 box checked and it was right next to the place where you put your credit card.  So, it would appear they either don't scam everyone or, even worse, they remember the IP address so that when you go back it looks more reasonable.  Wow again.  But, what they don't know is that I did screen prints the first time (when I was ripped off) so that I would have all of my username, password data, etc. (I typically do this).  So no I am able to show that they are not providing consistent screens.  Either they are only scamming randomly (say 1 out of 5), or possibly my IP address theory.  Either way...this doesn't look good...don't think the Attorney General would either!

I Did not understand the pay for bid deal until I hit the "Register" button.  Please note the "bids" are not money to use towards your purchase.  You are paying for each bid you need to make to buy an item plus what ever the item might end up costing. 

The price for a bid seemed to vary but it clearly indicated you would buy bids after you registered.  
I tried calling, and calling, and calling only to keep getting "we are busy, please try again later" (not exact message, but you get the point).  Then, just when I get a line (or thing), I listen to hold music for about 15 minutes only to then be asked to leave a message (BTW, thanks for the cell phone minutes, could've just sent me to voice mail earlier).  Then I submitted a "Support Ticket" through there support ticket system, but I am not holding my breath (as mentioned earlier, I have children, and I can't hold my breath very long).  I am begging them to STOP the charge from even hitting tonight but based on the report I referenced above, sounds like they are not into giving refunds, even if you never used the site.
 
I am going to call my bank to dispute, but I know how this works, often false and misleading is not enough IF the information is present anywhere, hidden, sneaky or not.  Still going to try to at least go on record since I am with a huge bank.  Bidrack has apparently told others they will not refund the money.  

Remember, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.  I really need this money back.  Next stop BBB and Attorney General's Office.  Not that there is ever a good time to take peoples money, but in this economy, to tease people with incredible deals, and then basically "steal" $99 (and my 16+ month unemployment) just pours salt on the wound...Come on.
