Bill Heard Chevrolet rip-off deceptive company false promises Plant Ciy Florida
I went to Bill Heard Chevrolet on Saturday, January 4 and began working with Chris "Mac". He showed me a 97 Pontiac Grand Am that could work for me for $1500 down payment and $200 monthly payments for 24 mo. It sounded too good to be true. I chose not to finish deal on Saturday and told Chris I wanted to think about it.
I called him later that afternoon and told him I was interested and would be out Monday to buy the 97 Pontiac, but I wanted new tires. I drove out there on Monday and the car was not there. I was told it was being picked up at tire place and it's ready. He held off starting the paperwork and made me wait 2 hours and the car was no where to be found. I began filling out paperwork and gave Chris a temporary check for my down payment. After several trips in and out Chris told me they can't take a temporary check.
I left upset Monday and left it that I would come back with a good check to buy the car. Tuesday through Thursday I was working on Insurance and fine details. Thursday at 2:30 pm I was notified by Chris that the car was sold Monday evening after I left at 7:30. I had spoken with a sales Manager Terry and several salesmen about deal Tuesday and Wednesday and no one informed me the car had been sold.
I was under the impression I was buying a 97 Pontiac Grand Am. Now it's sold.
