Received a phone call from Bill Logan who represented himself as a customer service manager at Ricoh/Ikon, our actual copier company. Per Bill, their company failed to send out a notice re: a price increase for balck toner. He said that the price increase went into effect on 10/15/11, however, he was going to honor the lower price of $298.00 instead of the increased price of $341.50 for this order only.
I thought the call as legitimate (actually from our copier copy and placed the order. They did send out one balck toner cartridge to the tune of $341.50.
I will be sending back the black toner cartridge to them via UPS.
