I recently purchased a ladradoodle from the baileys and after reading the rip off reports i was skeptical about going but also curious. I pulled in and it was just fine. all i saw were a couple that not only loved their puppies and adult dogs but were very knowledgable about the breeds. I searched the internet for weeks looking for the right puppy and as far as Im concerned the only ripping off i see is the breeders charging an arm and a leg for a "designer mutt" My pup was 500 and was the best looking one i found after looking for weeks. I know you cant make everyone happy but as u can see there are alot more satisfied people than not. Everyone that sees brody wants one and i gladly tell them hes from birdwalk and would recommend birdwalk to anyone looking for a cockapoo or labradoodle.

You do have to be careful about what you read on the Internet -- both good & bad. We found Birdwalk Farm on the Internet and contacted Lucille over 6 1/2 years ago and had our puppy shipped to us. Our experience was wonderful! Lucillie told us that Fred was the leader of his litter and he certainly has taken that role in our family. She correctly predicted that his adult weight would be about 40 pounds. When Fred was two years old, he had a hip/back injury which a young vet incorrectly thought was hip dysplasia. Lucille was extremely concerned and caring; we were all relieved when the x-rays showed healthy hips (we have a different vet now). We have referred several people to Lucille and have never had a negative comment. I was concerned when I saw the Rip-Off Report postings. We were on a road trip and detoured yesterday to visit with Lucille. She and her husband were delighted to see us! We played with the puppies and saw part of their farm. It was a beautiful day with temperatures in the low 70's. The puppies were in pens outside in the shade. Each pen had fresh water. The puppies were all happy and are clearly used to being picked up and held It was very tempting to take one (or more home). I'm not an expert in breeding, but Lucille seems to know what she is talking about and doing. As to the negative comments on the Rip-Off Report postings...First, Lucille said that they have tried to post a rebuttal or explanation and the site will not allow them to do so. Second, it is fair to state that Lucille is a large woman and that she and her husband are not urban sophisticates -- you can label them as "earthy". I care more about what someone does and says than what they look like. They love what they do and they love their dogs. Lucille broke down in tears when I told her how Fred was able to sense that my father was dying. She was thrilled that we brought her pictures of Fred & his boy. I'll take that any day over a well-dressed breeder whose puppies are on hosed down concrete floors! I would not hesitate to get another puppy from Lucille or to continue to recommend her.
