In March of 2016, our insurance agent, Williams Manny, told us our cigna plan was approved and we were to send our premiums to Black Wolf Consulting which they said was Cigna's billing system. We were mailing our monthly premium promptly before the due date.
Starting in April 2017, employees started having problems getting claims processed at all. We were in constant contact with our agency, Williams Manny in Rockford, il and they said they would check into it and stay on top of whtever the problem was.
Now 6 months later, they finally came out and told us that Cigna was not processing claims and there were some "financial issues". They said other companies were having the same problems. So apparently the agency knew of problems and did not inform us, to give us an option to change insurance companies. After researching these companies, I found the problem lies with Black Wolf Consulting not forwarding our timely insurance premiums.
Now, even though our premiums were paid by us. Our employees had had no real coverage and are receiving substantial bills in return. If the agency would have given us all information they had regarding the problems that they knew about we could have switiched to a different carrier before now.
We have had many problems along the way, but just dealt with them figuring it was due to so many new regualtions.
Wondering if there is a class action suit or something similar.
